Finally got my NISMO lug nuts after what felt like FOREVER on backorder 😮‍💨 Crazy how something small can completely finish off the look of a wheel setup. Now it’s time to shift gears and finally get rid of some of that monster truck fender gap 😂 But first… gotta roll the rear quarter lips with the Eastwood fender roller so we can fit things properly without destroying tires 😅 Track car progression continues 🔧 — #350z #nismo #trackcar #fitment #projectcar

Sometimes you gotta know when to throw in the towel 😭 After busting my butt doing the oil gallery gaskets and valve covers, I thought I was finally in the clear… Nope. The REAL oil leak finally showed itself: the rear timing cover 💀 Anyone that knows VQs knows exactly what that means. Massive job. Around 12 hours book time and deep enough that I finally had to wave the white flag. Huge shoutout to my good friend @turbodav for stepping in and saving me on this one 🙌 He’s an Infiniti/Nissan Master Tech and I’m seriously glad he agreed to take this headache off my hands. This might be the most advanced tool in my entire shop 👀 Quick unboxing → quick scan → instant reality check 😅 Back in 2023 I made this part the old-school way… ruler, photos, trial and error, print after print after print until I was finally happy enough with it. Fast forward to now with the @shining3d EINSTAR Vega 🤯 Scanned the NISMO oil cap, pulled it in, compared it to my original design and man… the difference is WILD. Seeing the old version next to the scanned one really puts things into perspective.
