Engineer brain said it should work… so naturally I had to test it 😂 When I designed this oil funnel, I added flutes to vent the valve cover area and rifling inside to help spin the oil as it flowed. My theory was that it would reduce glugging and speed up oil fills. Well… I finally tested it with 5 quarts of 5W-30 and it filled in 25 seconds 🤯 Not gonna lie, I wasn’t expecting it to work THAT well 😅 Sometimes the random ideas actually pay off. #3dprinting #engineering #projectcar #mechaniclife #3rdpedalmedia

What started as a simple rear-end upgrade got real… FAST 😅 The plan was simple: ✅ Install a VLSD ✅ Install the Z1 Motorsports Rear Drivetrain Support Kit I won at Z Nationals Reality: ❌ Stuck bushings ❌ Questioning my life choices ❌ Calling in backup 😂 Huge thanks to @jdscustomautomotive for helping get this one knocked out as well as @chris.nizmo and @crystal_white_sti. In the end, the open diff is gone and the track Z is one step closer to being ready for autocross and HPDE. Was it worth it?
